BJED Council is a national level organisation registered to create and foster an equitable environment that enables stakeholders of jewellery industry to experience sustainable growth while co creating value together. We act to safeguard and empower the stakeholders in the jewellery industry by providing our members with right resources at the right time and right place. In pursuit of equity in the industry, we work on delivering and communicating opportunity in the jewellery and precious metals industry that are innovative and technological, while remaining transparent in front of all internal as well as external stakeholders. After obtaining our multipurpose and attractive BJED-membership card/certificate, members can benefit from the vast reach and expertise that BJED executive and elective body has to offer. We envision to uplift the Indian jewellery industry where everyone can benefit from equitable opportunities.

It is with great honour and pleasure, I present to you the foundation of the Bharat Jewellery Export and Domestic Council(BJED Council).
The purpose of this council is to create and foster an equitable environment that enables stakeholders of jewellery industry to experience sustainable growth while co creating value together. I strongly believe our council has the power to strive as one of the most reliable and helpful organisation for all the stakeholders of (Indian) jewellery industry.
Our motive is to empower jewellers and kaarigar in the most coherent manner by utilising innovation and technology in the industry.
I hope all of you will help us in this mission by maintaining a convivial environment and take advantage of countless opportunities provided to you over the time.

What is equity? Equity is when everyone gets the support they need. It is different than equal treatment (equality) because in equality everyone benefits from the same support while with equity, everyone gets the support required for their needs. In today's world, there is huge disparity amidst jewellery industry as only a few controls the flow of information and resources which has resulted in an industry where as one gets more than is needed, while the other gets less than is needed, leaving power in the hands of only a few. Therefore, to improve the situation and uplift those who need more resources and right information, BJED Council strives to be the most reliable and helpful organisation for all the stakeholders of (Indian) jewellery industry and aims to be that bridge of jewellery industry that eliminates the distance between all stakeholders by promoting an equitable environment.
